Healthwise Launches Healthwise® Spanish Knowledgebase
Offering Easier Access to Health Information for a Rapidly Growing Hispanic Population
BOISE, Idaho, December 7, 2011—For the more than 50 million Hispanics in the United States, quality health care can get lost in translation. Until now. Spanish speakers with questions about their health can consult a new online resource in Spanish. The Healthwise Spanish Knowledgebase covers thousands of health issues along with hundreds of innovative, interactive decision aids and other helpful tools that Hispanics can use to make better health decisions and change behavior.
People have turned to Healthwise for trusted health information well over a billion times. Now they can get that same information in English or Spanish. When people understand information about their health, they take better care of themselves and their families and can establish better partnerships with their health care provider.
